PROFACTOR GmbH and Bachmann electronic GmbH have introduced a test-driven development approach for IEC 61499 and the online-monitoring and debugging of IEC 61499 function block networks on basis of the 4DIAC software. The attached German article form the "Computer & Automation" magazine provides an overview of this extension to the 4DIAC software which will be available as commercial license.
